Understanding Maths is a series of mathematics books with content aligned to the Victorian Mathematics Curriculum F–10. The content is designed to enable students to achieve the required student outcomes and is organised into the 6 Strands:

1. Number
2. Algebra
3. Measurement
4. Space
5. Statistics
6. Probability

Students using the book will benefit from the very clear explanations of rules and concepts that are required in the various Stages. Each page covers only one concept or rule to ensure high levels of understanding. Each formula, rule or set of steps is highlighted in larger print to assist learning. The fully worked examples that are provided are designed to reinforce learning.

Key Features

• The content of each book is divided into 10-11 convenient learning sections within the Strands: Number, Algebra, Measurement, Space, Statistics and Probability.
